UNAM-Chicago | April 9–30, 2026

This exhibition presents monoprints, monotypes, paintings, and mixed media works by Rosa María C. Díes. Rooted in imagination, her work often centers on women as expressions of emotion and inner life, alongside landscapes and abstract forms. Trained as a biologist in Mexico City, she later developed a multidisciplinary artistic practice shaped by printmaking and experimentation with texture and color. A monotype is a one-of-a-kind print, while a monoprint becomes unique through variation and hand work. At 85, Díes continues to create with curiosity, discipline, and joy.
